- 14.1: Textura
- Consideraremos la textura en términos de elementos verticales y horizontales. La naturaleza vertical de la textura se relaciona con el número de notas que ocurren simultáneamente como armonías. También podría relacionarse con el número de voces o instrumentos que interpretan melodías simultáneamente en una textura contrapuntal. El elemento horizontal de la textura se relaciona con la actividad rítmica: ¿el valor rítmico más común en un pasaje es lento o rápido?
