5.9. Convexidad
Esta sección corta presenta un resultado simple que justifica en cierta medida los supuestos hechos en la sección anterior, es decir, que el perímetro (o área) de un n-gon regular inscrito en un círculo es menor que el perímetro (o área) del círculo, y del n -gon regular circunscrito.
Problema 212 Se dibuja un polígono convexo P1 en el interior de otro polígono convexo P2.
a) Explicar por qué el área de P 1 debe ser menor que la superficie de P 2.
b) Demostrar que el perímetro de P 1 debe ser menor que el perímetro de P 2.
