    El albedo es una medida, expresada como una fracción, de la cantidad de radiación dispersada desde una superficie u objeto. En este capítulo se describen los albedos más utilizados y se describen los métodos para calcularlos en los casos en que las soluciones analíticas son difíciles, si no imposibles, de obtener. Para ello introducimos dos cantidades fotométricas más, a saber, la exitancia M y la intensidad I. También se presenta un resumen completo de las cantidades fotométricas.
