    Este libro de texto fue originalmente adaptado de Math in Society de David Lippman además del contenido de The Monterey Institute for Technology and Education para Geometría y Medición, el contenido de Larry Ottman y Ellen Lawsky para Distribución Normal, y mi propio contenido escrito para ajustarse al esquema de registro del curso. Esta es la segunda edición del libro de texto, donde el Capítulo 5: Medición y Geometría en la versión 0.99, es ahora dos capítulos, Capítulo 5: Medición y Capítulo 6: Geometría. Se agregaron ejercicios al final del Capítulo 5 y Capítulo 6. Se agregó contenido en el Capítulo 11 para un mejor uso de la tabla de puntuación z (también se agregó al final de la sección 11.2) además de más ejercicios al final del capítulo
