En este curso se discuten detalladamente oscilaciones y ondas, por su importancia para la física fundamental y aplicada. Este capítulo inicia con una discusión sobre el llamado oscilador “lineal” (o “armónico”), cuya ecuación diferencial de movimiento es lineal y por lo tanto permite la solución analítica completa, para luego proceder a sistemas “no lineales” y paramétricos cuya dinámica solo puede ser explorada ya sea por análisis aproximados o métodos numéricos.
